How CryptoSignals checks a crypto tip
CryptoSignals is a free tool from Web3India Technology (Kolkata, India) that checks crypto tips from Telegram, YouTube, Instagram, X and WhatsApp for scam warning signs and shows the coin's real market data. It does not give trading tips. This page lists the exact rules, so you can check our work.
Last updated 30 September 2026 · Reading engine version: scoring-v1.0.
1. The short version
- No AI decides the score. The risk score comes from fixed rules written in code. AI is only used to read text from screenshots and to explain results in your language.
- Every red flag has a reason you can see, and adds a fixed number of points. The total is capped at 100.
- We publish our own technical readings in a public ledger, including the ones that turned out wrong, with a daily fingerprint so we cannot edit history.
2. Wording red flags
Scam tips use the same pressure tricks again and again. We look for these patterns in English, Hinglish and Hindi:
| Red flag | Examples of what triggers it | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Unrealistic return claim | "10x", "100x", "crorepati", "moon", "lambo" | 20 |
| "Guaranteed" language | "guaranteed", "pakka", "100%", "sure shot", "risk-free", "no loss", "मुनाफा पक्का" | 20 |
| Urgency pressure | "only 2 hours", "sirf 2 ghante", "last chance", "before listing", "jaldi", "don't miss" | 10 |
| Exclusivity / insider pressure | "VIP", "insider", "admin already in", "premium group", "paid group" | 10 |
| Referral link or unknown venue | "my link", "referral", "use my code", "only on this DEX", "new token" | 10 |
| Profit promise | "profit", "returns", "double your money" | 10 |
3. Market-data checks
When a tip names a coin, we look it up on a major exchange (Binance from the website; KuCoin from our Telegram bot) and check what the price and volume are actually doing:
| Check | When it fires | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Price already pumped | Up 50% or more in 24 hours, or 100% or more in 7 days | 15 |
| Sudden volume spike | Volume 5× its normal level or more | 15 |
| Low liquidity | Less than US$1 million traded in 24 hours | 15 |
| Very new token | Listed on the exchange for less than 90 days | 10 |
| Not verifiable | The coin is not found on a major exchange | 10 |
4. DEX contract checks
If the tip contains a token contract address, we check the trading pair on DexScreener and the contract on GoPlus Security:
| Check | What it means | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Honeypot risk | The token may be impossible to trade back out of. Any honeypot flag makes the result at least 75 (Very high risk). | 30 |
| High trading tax | More than 10% is taken on each trade | 15 |
| Thin DEX liquidity | Less than US$50,000 in the pool | 15 |
| Owner powers | The owner can still mint new tokens, freeze wallets or take control | 10 |
| Brand-new pair | The trading pair was created less than 7 days ago | 10 |
| Contract not found | No DEX pair found, so it cannot be verified | 10 |
5. Risk levels
| Score | Level |
|---|---|
| 0–24 | Low risk: no common warning signs found. It is still not a recommendation. |
| 25–49 | Medium risk |
| 50–74 | High risk |
| 75–100 | Very high risk |
A low score only means we did not find the warning signs we look for. New scam styles appear all the time, so always do your own research.
6. Technical readings (the Scanner)
The Scanner gives the top 100 Binance coins a 0–100 technical reading on 1-hour, 4-hour and 1-day candles. It only uses closed candles and needs 250 candles of history.
| Part | What we measure | Max points |
|---|---|---|
| RSI (14) | Momentum. Very high RSI is treated as stretched, not as strength. | 25 |
| MACD (12, 26, 9) | Histogram above zero, histogram rising, MACD line above zero | 25 |
| Bollinger %B (20, 2) | Where the price sits inside its normal range | 20 |
| Volume | Volume against its 20-candle average, on up and down candles | 15 |
| Trend | Price above EMA20; EMA20 above EMA50; EMA50 above EMA200 | 15 |
Ratings: 75–100 Strong Bullish · 60–74 Bullish · 41–59 Neutral · 26–40 Bearish · 0–25 Strong Bearish. A reading describes what the chart is doing now. It is not a forecast and not advice.
7. The public ledger
Every time a reading changes to a bullish or bearish rating, we write it to the public ledger with a SHA-256 hash. Each day we publish a Merkle root of that day's hashes, so anyone can check that old entries were not edited. We fill in the price 1, 3 and 7 candles later, including when the reading was wrong. We will not publish a "hit rate" headline until we have 12 months of data.
8. What we never do
- We never tell you to enter or leave a trade, and we never promise returns.
- We never ask for money, passwords, seed phrases, or exchange keys that can trade or withdraw.
- We never message you first. Real accounts are listed on Official accounts.
